Department of Sanskrit works on building student teacher relationship for imparting subject knowledge by conducting national and state level seminars, class room debates, outreach programmes, Guest lecturers by eminent speakers and also encourages students to submit articles for publications in reputed magazines and news papers, which enables self confidence in students.

Students are also encouraged to take active participation in Intercollegiate and Interuniversity competitions, and the students have always excelled in such events. To create social awareness among the students community development programmes are conducted by the department. Department conducts lectures on UNI - Code system for enabling Indian languages on computer.

Because of these activities the department could achieve a 97% of success rate with a highest mark of 98.
